WHAT HAS AKΨ TAUGHT YOU?
AKPsi has taught me that at the end of the day, it is all about the people. As redundant as that sounds, the more I got to know our brothers and PNMs, the more my perspective grew. We are all so different in our interests, backgrounds, and goals, and it constantly amazes me to see the paths everyone chooses to take. AKPsi also taught me that balance matters. There are times to grind and work hard, but there is also space to enjoy life and have fun. Not everything needs to be taken so seriously all the time.
WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE MEMORY WHILE ABROAD?
Probably just a random Saturday at the Luxembourg Garden, just sitting and people watching. Observing what people wear, the different crowds each day, couples, kids, and families. It was a reminder that sometimes it is nice to slow down, sit back, and just enjoy the moment.
WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING FORWARD TO THIS SEMESTER AS THE VP OF NEW MEMBER EDUCATION?
Honestly, I am really excited to see who my pledge class will be. I am looking forward to planning each module with intention and creating an experience that truly helps new members transition into the fraternity. This period is such an important time for growth and transformation, and I see it as the foundation for what the fraternity will continue to become.
